Farah Al-ibrahim 21, Saudi Arabia (currently United Arab Emirates)

Name: Farah Al-Ibrahim
Age: 21
Hometown: Saudi Arabia

Life Goal:
I would love to create an image of Saudi women who represent our contemporary culture. Being an active member of the workforce that helps improve our society by changing different factors and thoughts that people hold in their mind is a goal I would like to reach and obtain by putting all my creative thoughts together to accomplish and make a change in my society.

And Why?
To change the perception and stereotyping that women from my country are facing.

i think you are running from a stereotype to another. you are trying to change the perspective that Saudi women can’t enter the workforce which is great, however you are emphasizing on another perspective which is “working-Saudi-women don’t wear head scarf”. i know that it’s a personal choice, but I’m only saying that what you are living is also a form of stereotyping. i mean there are a lot of Muslim working women around the world who are brilliantly successful, yet they represent Muslim women very well. at the end. this might not be your goal and not what you are trying to achieve. ^-^
    regards!
